The multi-venue program challenges its re-engineered vehicles \u2013 including the Hennessey\u00ae VelociRaptor\u00ae 600 \u2013 to extreme cold and hot temperatures while driving under brutal conditions.<\/p><p>In its most recent challenge, Hennessey\u00ae pitted its powerful VelociRaptor\u00ae 600 truck against shifting dunes and temperatures exceeding 100\u00b0F (~40\u00b0C) in an arid Southern California desert. Utilizing its enhanced 672 lb-ft of torque, the truck tackled extreme inclines to climb 300 ft high dunes and underwent punishing launches and high-speed driving.
